I
use minimal forms, hand-worked surfaces and the transition of light to
create work that pursues the basic elements of glass. For me it is the
blending of these elements that best defines the space of my personal
thoughts. My most recent work is a series entitled "Core Sample".
This is a deeply personal body of work compelled by the power and complexities
of my thoughts and the struggle to express those which I find too difficult
for words. The minimalist human form of each piece in this series reveals
the power of these thoughts through "portals" representing particular
moments or experiences in my life.
