KAY
Kay Hyewook Huh received her B.F.A. from Kookmin University in Seoul,
Korea in 1994, and her M.F.A. in glass from the Southern University of
Illinois in 2002. She was an emerging artist in residence at Pilchuck
in 2003. Back in Korea, she has started a career as a glass artist and
teacher. Her fundamental form comes from simple geometric figures and
symbolic shapes of man-made structures that imply the pursuit of perfection
in form.
